This website is owned and operated by the Rezco Group ("Rezco") which includes inter alia: Rezco Asset Management (Pty) Ltd, an authorised Financial Services Provider in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS) (FSP No. 702), Registration No. 1980/009077/07; and Rezco Collective Investments Ltd, an authorised Collective Investment Scheme Manager in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 2002 (CISCA), Registration No. 2004/012079/06. Both entities have their registered address at 146 Main Road, Walmer, Gqeberha, 6070. Rezco respects your privacy and is committed to processing personal information in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), applicable financial services legislation, and FSCA regulatory standards. This Privacy Notice summarises how Rezco collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information, and the rights you have in respect of your personal information.
Purpose of Processing Personal Information
Rezco collects and processes personal information in compliance with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standards (CRS), POPIA and other applicable laws for purposes including, but not limited to: investment and client relationship management, including onboarding, updating, managing and administering investment accounts and managing relationships with clients, investors, allocators, advisors, and their representatives; conducting Anti-money Laundering obligations; handling queries, complaints, disputes, claims, or enforcement actions; business and operational purposes, including sending legally required or relevant communications and marketing materials, understanding client and investor preferences and behaviour, conducting audits, research, or statistical analyses, and preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud; and managing newsletter subscriptions and other updates for investors, clients, or interested parties. Special personal information (e.g., race, religion, health, sex life, biometric data) is not collected or processed intentionally. Any such information incidentally obtained will be treated in accordance with POPIA and Rezco's internal policies.
How Rezco Uses Personal Information
Rezco does not use personal information for any reason other than is required to comply with the law, effectively render its services to investors and clients, and to carry on its business in the investment management industry. Subsequently, Rezco processes personal information for purposes, not limited to: complying with regulatory reporting obligations; managing client relationships, including interactions via email, or telephone etc.; engaging with potential investors via email, or telephone etc.; engaging and managing relationships with service providers who assist Rezco in delivering its services; verifying investor or client identity for crime and fraud prevention, detection and related purposes; and maintaining internal records for audits, research, or statistical purposes. Rezco does not sell personal information. Personal information is only shared or processed externally where legally required or contractually necessary.
Sharing Personal Information
Rezco may share personal information in the following circumstances: With third party service providers, only to the extent necessary for them to provide services to Rezco in accordance with a signed Service Level Agreement that includes data protection obligations. All third parties are contractually obliged to protect the personal information they receive from Rezco in line with POPIA. With regulators, law enforcement, and government authorities, to comply with legal obligations, protect Rezco's rights, or prevent, detect, and investigate crime. Internally within the Rezco Group, where required to support the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.
Retention of Personal Information
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to: comply with legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations; fulfil the purposes for which it was collected; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and maintain historical, statistical, or research records (only minimum necessary personal information will be retained in these cases).
Security of Personal Information
Rezco implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including: securing systems and infrastructure from unauthorised access; limiting employee access to only the information required to perform their duties; encrypting sensitive information where appropriate; and maintaining internal policies and procedures for information security and confidentiality. All staff and third party service providers are required to comply with Rezco's POPIA Policy.
Your Rights
You have inter alia the following rights regarding your personal information: You may request confirmation whether Rezco holds your personal information and obtain a copy thereof. You may request the correction or deletion of inaccurate, incomplete, or unnecessary personal information. You may object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. You may request that your personal information be transmitted to another party, where applicable. Requests should be submitted using the forms available on Rezco's website: Annexure 1: Request for Access, Annexure 2: Objection to Processing, Annexure 3: Request for Correction / Deletion. Please take note that Rezco may respond in accordance with POPIA and applicable legislation, and may request additional information to verify your identity.

Complaints
